Parents, it's important to know that this first movie in the magical world series has some exciting and a bit scary parts. The main characters, who are just eleven years old, face some danger and get a bit hurt, but nothing too serious. They also encounter some scary creatures in the film that might spook the kids.

A great movie to start the magical series, it provides a good introduction to the main character, Harry, his friends, and all the wizards and witches at the magical school, Hogwarts. It tells a wonderful story of Harry's exciting adventures.

Review from a kid, 11 years old: A little scary but awesome.

Review from a kid, 10 years old: It is such a wonderful and magical film, but I find the man with two faces a bit scary. Even though I haven't seen that character for a year, I still think he's too scary for me! Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome film! I think it's the best of the series.

Parent's review with 5 and 7-year-old kids: Wait until they're older. A great movie! My kids don't watch many movies, but they loved the fantasy in this one. I probably love it more than them. Parents might not fully capture their kids' interest in this movie until they're older than nine, but you can't keep them away from these movies, I know from my experience.
